Synopsis
Marlene Bienville's life had evolved into an enviable status. She had a position with the most prestigious law firm in New Orleans. She was engaged to the man she had always wanted to marry. Attempting to assist her cousin, Tommie Adams invites Marlene to live with her in Houston and work for a temporary agency. But Marlene is convinced that her boss did not commit suicide and coerces Tommie to join forces in pursuing a hazardous paper trail from New Orleans to Houston. Tempting fate, they delve into the world of bank corruption, politics, and the mob.
